It can be
hard to feel balanced in the modern world. With so many things vying for our
attention, we can often feel as if we’re being pulled in so many different
directions we’re not even sure which way is up. Work, school runs, managing the
social calendars of children who seem have way more of a social life than we
could even hope to have, bills, office politics all take up space in our
brains, leaving us feeling like we’ve no space left for ourselves.
of balance as this thing we should all just have in our lives, but it’s really
hard to feel at all balanced when you’re rushing from pillar to post, trying to
keep everyone happy. Whether it’s work stress, home stress or that unique
stress that comes from commuting between the two, we’re more likely to feel
that the only balance we have in our lives is the balancing act we perform to
try and keep everything together.
Stop for a
moment. Take a deep breath and re-focus on what’s important.
